Ice Cream Festival road closures

For the Ice Cream Festival, the following roads will be closed to traffic between 5am -11pm on Saturday 30 October 2021:

  • BYRON ST GLENELG, between Jetty Rd and 50m north of Jetty Rd.
  • CHAPEL ST GLENELG, between Jetty Rd and Milton St.
  • COLLEY TCE GLENELG, between Augusta St and Jetty Rd.
  • MOSELEY ST GLENELG, between Jetty Rd and Elizabeth St.
  • NILE ST GLENLEG, between Jetty Rd and 50m north of Jetty Rd.
  • SOAL ST GLENELG, between Jetty Rd and 50m north of Jetty Rd.
  • SUSSEX ST GLENELG, between Jetty Rd and 50m north of Jetty Rd.
  • WATERLOO ST GLENELG, between Jetty Rd and 50m north of Jetty Rd.
  • MILTON ST GLENELG, between Jetty Rd and 50m south of Jetty Rd.

For the Glenelg Ice Cream Festival, the following roads will be closed to traffic between 5am-7pm on Saturday 30 October:

JETTY RD GLENELG, between Colley Tce and Gordon St/Partridge St intersection.

A 25km/h reduced speed limit will apply between 5am -11pm on Saturday 30 October 2021:

  • COLLEY TCE GLENELG, between Jetty Rd and Augusta St.
  • GORDON ST GLENELG, between Jetty Rd and Augusta St.
  • JETTY RD GLENELG, between Gordon St/Partridge St intersection and Colley Tce
  • MOSELEY ST GLENELG, between Elizabeth St and College St.
  • PARTRIDGE ST GLENELG, between Jetty Rd and High St.

The Glenelg Ice Cream Festival event will commence at 11am and conclude at 10pm

TOW AWAY AREAS:

Please note that in accordance with Road Traffic Act 1961, Section 40N, vehicles parked within temporary road closures or within temporary No Parking and No Stopping areas will be towed away. Fees will apply to collect a vehicle from the compound.
